FRENCH AEROPLANES.

Twenty aeroplanes have arrived at Mukden from France, and 18 were handed over to General Chang-Tso-Lin’s agents before a protest on behalf of the Peking Government reached the French Legation, which replied in effect that there was no law in France to prevent the exportaion of commercial aeroplanes, though effective regulations could be applied to military planes. The matter has aroused much feeling in Chinese official circles. Advices from Tientsin state that Government .troops this morning attacked on the Shanghai-Kuan front, and that a big engagement is in progress.
