THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are. for south-easterly winds, strong to gale and veering by west to north. Expect dull weather, with'much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. Barometer falling; seas considerable, tides poor.
