PRINCE OF WALES.
VISITS TO CANADA. VIY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT VANCOUVER, Oct. 4. The Prince of Wales arrived at ten o’clock last night, and Avas welcomed informally by the Mayor and City Council. He then proceeded to the Hotel Vancouver, where the entire eighth floor has been reserved. No functions or celebrations are being held, in accordance Avith liis expressed wishes. He Avill proceed to Victoria on Sunday, leaA'ing on Tuesday for the East. The Prince’ is planning to spend at Winnipeg one day and at Ottawa tAvo. Invitations to- visit friends at New England, also Chicago, and Detroit, are under consideration.
