CHRISTMAS LAMB FOR GREAT BRITAIN. The arrangement made last season by the New Zealand Meat Producers Board to deliver to any' address in Great Britain, a single carcase of prime New Zealand lamb for the sum of £1 13s met with such gratifying results that it has been decided to continue the scheme again this Christmas season.
Numerous letters have been received by the board from different recipients all over Great Britain eulogising the quality and condition of the lambs received. This form of advertisement is regarded by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board as a valuable means, of advertising New Zealand lamb to the public in Great Britain, and has been an important factor in introducing our lamb into parts of the Old Country where frozen meat was hitherto unknown . Being labelled “New Zealand” it is the means of letting consumers know what- to expect in future when they order New Zealand lamb. Only prime carcases of New Zealand lamb are delivered under this arrangement, and full particulars'of the scheme will he found in our advertising columns
