MOTOR. CYCLE FATALITY. PERILS OF THE ROAD. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 DARGAVILLE, Oct. 4. A young man, Leslie Adams (25), single, a carpenter, was riding a motor cycle from Dargaville to his home at Te Kopuru yesterday afternoon, when lie met with an accident which proved fatal. It appears he was riding along an asphalt road at a fairly smart pace, when his motor cycle got in a. rut at the side of the road and got out of control, throwing the rider heavily to the ground, with the cycle on top of him. Two telegraph linesmen working nearby rushed to his assistance, and found him severely injured. They had him conveyed to the Te Kopuru Hospital, where it was found he had. sustained serious injuries to his head, .from which he died half an hour later.
