To have lived in Palmerston North for 52 years and to 'have occupied the sa'me residential site during the whole of that period is a distinction which few old residents of the town can claim, but a notable exception is Mr. S. Abrahams, of Main Street, who on Monday celebrated the 52nd anniversary of his arrival in Palmerston North. After twenty-four years in the service of the Agricultural Department. Colonel A. R Young, director of the live stock division, has retired on super, animation. The members of the stalf of the department assembled in large numbers at Wellington on Monday afternoon to bid him farewell. Sure and certain —Wade's Worm Pigs. Children like them.—Advt.
