BOXER’S DEATH.
EVIDENCE AT INQUEST; (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) • AUCKLAND, October 2. At the inquest on John Bruce Rogers 21) who died in hospital oh. September 7, Dr. .Taylor gave evidence thata post mortem examination disclosed a large hemorrhage oh the right side of the brain, probably not- more than two or three days' old. Deceased’s, father stated that his- son was a butcher by occupation. Deceased had complained of injury sustained through a side of meat falling on him six months ago. About! a week after that he was engaged in a boxing competition,' and stated he was over the heart. He complained about pains in his head, and said that lie had given up sparring. ;; The coroner said that there was no evidence to show the cause of. the clot of blood, and formally • cerified, that death was in accordance with the medical evidence. . - ' .
