The four clubs iii the southern division’ (Hawera, Park, Manaia. and Patea) have decided to opeii the 1924-25 season on the same day— Wednesday, October B—the8 —the object being that Banner matches can be commenced without delay.
A meeting of ladies will he held at the Park Club’s pavilion to-morrow, at 3 p.m. to make arrangements for afternoon tea on opening day.
