AT GERMANY’S ATTITUDE TO LEAGUE OF NATIONS. BY CABLE—PB.ESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Sept. 29, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 28. , lhe Times’ Riga correspondent says that Germany’s decision to seek admission,to the League has created undisguised alarm in official Bolshevik circles. He adds that the latest reports indicate that Soviet leaders attempted by pressure to restrain Germany from making what they claimed would be a fatal error. The hidications are that the failure of these efforts exceedingly annoyed Mfoscow, where fears are- openly expressed that Germany’s entry means the development of a new European international combination, which, bv weakening the ties between Berlin and 'Moscow, may seriously threaten Bolshevism’s domination of Russia.— Times.
