R. P. Morrissey and Co. will sell by public auction oil Wednesday, October 1, household furniture, stock and sundries on behalf of Mrs M. Morgan, Waihi road. Pull particulars in auction columns. • A good entry, of bulls has been received for the Wanvakaiho bull fair, th,e number totalling about one hundred

head of pedigree and grade Jerseys. The quality of bulls usually yarded at this sale is of a good standard, so buyers need have no hesitation in attending it to secui’e their sires for the coming season. Catalogues have been prepared and can be obtained from all branches of the auctioneers, Messrs Newton King Limited. See sale'advt. in auction columns. The fifth anual show and sale of bulls' on behalf of., the Jersey Cattle Club will be held at the New Plymouth Show Grounds on Tuesday, October 7. Entries totalling fifty head have been received; a fewer number 1 than at previous sales, but the quality on the whole will be of a very high standard. A show is to be held before the sale commences. Three classes are to be judged,'and the judging will be in the hands of Mr E. H. Linnell, of Stratford. Buyers of high-class Jersey bulls should make every effort to attend this sale, for they can rely upon having an excellent catalogue of animals to make their selections from.
