HOWARD ELLIOTT AS PLAINTIFF

(IJY TELEGRAPH —PRESS -ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. The case Howard Elliott versus the New Zealand Worker and John Glover publisher, a claim for £IOO damages for alleged libel, was mentioned in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. On behalf of defendant, counsel said that application would be made to have the case removed to the Supreme Court for hearing. As one of-the counsel for the defence was in hospital an adjournment sine die was asked for

Counsel for plaintiff objected to a prolonged adjournment, and added thatthe application to remove the case would be opposed. ' The Magistrate (Mi. Riddel) adjourned the case till October'. 18.
