WELLINGTON SUGGESTION. Considerable discussion had taken place during the past. feAV months on the question of advertising Nevv Zealand, said Air AV. J. Pascoe at a meeting of the AVellington Technical College Board of GoA-ernors this week. Alany plans had been suggested, continued the speaker, but there Avas one gentleman Avho had done an enormous amount to ad\ r ertise the Dominion, His Excellency the Governor-General. Air Pascoe suggested that a special set of stamps should be printed to commemorate His Excellency’s fi\’e years’ service to this country. Such stamps AA'qulcl be treasured by collectors and the general public in all parts of the world. They would thus slioav in a noA’el manner our appreciation to our sovereign’s representatWe. and go a long Avay toAvard making Now Zealand better known overseas.
