ELTHAM.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

CHURCH OF ENGLAND BAZAAR. The annual bazaar in aid of All Saints’ Church was opened by the Mayor (Mr. G. W. Tayler) yesterday aftirnopn in the Town Hall. The weather conditions were not favourable, but nevertheless it does not require an optimist to see that the financial results will be entirely satisfactory, judging by the amount of business doing and the keenness of the attendants and those in charge of the various competitions. The stalls were all very nicely decorated, and were full of valuable and acceptable articles for purchase at such a function. The committee in charge deserve great praise for the inlerest and energy displayed in preparing for the bazaar. The fete was continued last night, when good business was again recorded.
