It is understood that Cabinet has deferred consideration of the Question of the continuance of the Wembley Exhibition till the return of Mr J. H. Thomas (Secretary of the Colonies) on September 20. The Daily Express says Cabinet has decided that' so far as they are "concerned the Wembley Exhibition will, end this year. Their attitude will only be modified if a considerable change of opinion is disclosed on the part of the Dominion Governments and the leading exhibitors, and if new financial assurances, now absent, are forthcoming.
