, WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. The Government . Astronomer has been informed by the International Comet Bureau of the discovery by Herr Finsler, Berlin, of a comet new of the eighth magnitude, visible in small telescopes. The position to-night will be 14 hours 20 minutes right ascension, five degrees seven minutes north declination. It Sets at 7.20 p.m., but the position iis . ihiproving daily, its right ascension increasing eight minutes daily, and declination decreasing two degrees daily. It has not yet been seen locally.
