BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYHIGHT PARIS, Sept. 20.-: Following Britain restoring the 26 per cent, tax on German imports with the application of the Dawes plan, France, has now decided to impose a similar tax from Is lOd on all German goods imported direct or through a third country. EARTHQUAKE. CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 20. A further earthquake has occurred in the Erzerum district. Great fissures opened in the ground and terrifying subterranean noises were heard sixty miles away. Many villages were destroyed. Sixty deaths are already reported. FLIGHT BY BRITISH AIRMAN. LONDON, Sept. 20. The Tangier correspondent of the Daily Telegraph' says a British airman arrived at 7.30 on Friday evening, Cobham having flown from London in fourteen hours, with only one stop for half an hour at Madrid. BRITISH PARLIAMENT. LONDON, Sept. 20. An official announcement has been issued summoning Parliament for September 30.
