SYDNEY,' Sept. 18. __ Captain Patrick, late of Patrick Steamships, Ltd., intends .to embark on another shipping venture in the interstate - trade if he gains the support of merchants. In the event of this service being instituted, Captain Patrick states that he 'intends to reduce thp present freight,: rates 10 per cent. He contends that business at ™? se rates will be payable if the ships by any means are well loaded. Ihe success of the venture depends on tbc result of a meeting of shippers this afternoon.
