DEATH O'F MOTOR CYCLIST.

{BY TELEGRAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, Sept. 17. A man named’ Louis Souquet, aged -■bout 20, was found lying beside a motor-cycle on the Mount Cargill road at seven o’clock this evening, having collided with a milk cart. He was conveyed by a. taxi-cab driver to the hospital, but expired before arrival. DEATH FROM MISADVENTURE CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 17. An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Alfred John Walker, a labourer, from the Chatham Islands, who visited the Heatheote bowling green, where men were at work preparing the green for the coming season’s play, and in the spirit of fun placed a bottle of weed killer to his lips and died from the effects. In the hospital gangrene of the internal tissues set in and he died on Monday. A verdict of death from misadventure was returned.
