JUMP TO DEATH
MOVIE PICTURE “FAN.” NEW YORK, Aug. 31. man was killed by jumping from the dizzy heights of the Williamsburg Bridge, across East River, in an effort to break into moving picture work as a dare-devil. Although his services had been refused by the cinema companies, he announced that he would make the attempt. Several photographers took pictures from tugs as he jumped, while policemen vainly attempted to restrain him. He turned oyer six times and landed on his back in the water. His body has not been recovered.
