NEWTON KING, LTD., REPORT. At Waiwakaiho yesterday Ave had a full yarding of store and dairy stock. All classes of store cattle sold well, crossbred yearling heifers and young store cows making better prices than at recent sales;- In the dairy pens inqiiiry was keen, especially for Avell grmvn heifers close to profit and for dairy cows Avith any quality. Quotations : Poor conditioned and small crossbred yearling heifers, 15s to 245; better conditioned do., 34s to £2; small yearling Jersey heifers, £2 4s to £2 15s; 2-year empty crossbred heifers, 375; shorthorn do., 355; young store coavs, £2 to £3; forward conditioned ooavs up to £4; boner coavs, 30s to £2 10s; light fat cows, £4 *os; fat heifers. £3 10s to. £5 ss; 2-year Jersey springing heifers, £7 15s to £lO ss; crossbred heifers, £5 to £7 10s; 3-year Holstein springing heifers (close up), £l2: good dairy cows, Jerseys, £l2 to £ls; ordinary cows, £6 10s to £9. Two pens of fat and forward wethers made 38s and 32s 6d respectively.
