ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE BY SCHOOLMASTER
(BY TELEGRAPH —PBEBB ASSOCIATION.) SHANNON, Sept. 12. At the inquest ori William Voysey, headmaster of Shannon State school, it was disclosed that deceased met his death from a gunshot wound selfinflicted. He was found dead in the kitchen of the school residence with a gun alongside and a wound over the heart.' He left a note indicating his intention of taking hi s life on account of ill-health, also directions for the disposal of his affairs. He had been headmaster at Shannon for 25 years, and had previously been a teacher in Westland. He was a single man, due to retire at the end of the year.
