PEKIN, Sept. 5. The Chinese military authorities have closed the Shangha.i-Wosung line as a precaution against a possible laud attack on the forts in the eventof the- Kiaugsnites bieaking through at Luiuho, 15 miles north-west of Wosnng. A second attack by the Kiangsuites vesterday did not\ mature, arid there has been no- serious fighting to-day. The Chekiangites hold all the positions originally held. In the course of small ecutn.ey-attacks to-day they captured .a regimental commander. Wu Pei Fu denies that any of his soldiers are fighting for Kiangsu.—Reuter.
