MAN'S SKULL FRACTURED

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5. Albert E. Holway, secretary to Tnglifi Bros., Ltd., was knocked down in front of the post office to-day by a boy riding a bicycle. Holway struck the ground heavily, and it was ascertained at the hospital that his skull was fractured. His condition is reported to be serious.

FATAL INJURIES TO BOY

DUNEDIN, Sept. 5. John Francis Kitto, aged 10, residing with his parents at Kaitangata, died at 5.30 o'clock to-night as the result of striking the crown of his head on the floor by falling from "a bed while playing with a brother, aged seven, and a sister, aged eight. He got op and commenced vomiting. His mother put the child to bed and called in the doctor, but the boy expired before his arrival.
