THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to he cloudy and unsettled. Bain is probable. Barometer falling, but rising soon. Sea heavy; tides high.
