PNEUMONIA.

(BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ' ... .; WAIMATE, Sept. .4, . During the past month a number of °f pneumonia have occurred in the Waimate district, with five deaths. Ihe medical superintendent of the hospital states that the illness commences as a severe infectious cold—in all probability a type of influenza. He urges people, to take every precaution arid remember the lessons during the 1918 influenza epidemic.
