SUPREME COURT.

NOT GUILTY. (BY TELEGRAPH —-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Hamilton. Sept. 4. At the Supreme Court Frank Ernest Garrett was found not guilty of assaulting Charles Edwin Richdale at Te Roie. It will be remembered that Richdale was found seriously hurt, and it was alleged that he was knocked on the head by Garrett. Later Richdale committed suicide. The accused admitted having visited Richdale on business, but denied assault. The defence claimed that Richdale, who was acting peculiarly, injured himself.
