CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON. (BY TELEGRAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. The _ Plunket Society conference lengthily considered a suggestion to name the society’s hospitals Truby King hospitals, in . order to associate the movement with the name of the founder, also, or alternatively, that the nurse be so named. A letter was read which had been addressed to Dr. Truby King asking his approval. Dr. Truby King, who- arrived during the discussion, replied saying that he was deeply touched. He described the circumstances of his selection of the name Plunket, and implored the society to leave his name out. Plunket was a good name, and was now well known.
