- ; WASHINGTON, Sept. 2. . It is believed that the Labour Department charged with the enforcement
of the immigration laws is nearing a decision oa the charges made by those i demanding- the deportation of Luis > Firpo, the,Argentinian boxer. The Rev. William -phase, who has taken the lead to have the fighter deported,'had a conference with the officials of the' department, and was told that progress was being mhde. The Eev. Chase expects that action will soon be indicated, and is confident that the decision will favour deportation.
