The following were successful in the guessing competition in connection with the Manaia sports queen: Mrs. Landers’ knives, Mrs. R. Donald guessed 96 beans; guessing doll’s name, Miss Nancy Burke. For the tray-cloth (correct number 434) three tied, P. Steffertf T. Jury, and Nancy Burke, and in the draw P. Steffert was successful. Cake and doll, guessing name: Mrs. C. Sutter and Miss Nancy Mourie guessed correct name, Mary. At the sports queen euchre party, held in the Town Hall on Monday night, the priezwinners were Miss White and Mr. T. Butler, booby prizes Miss Borne and Mr. L. Landers.
