In connection with the trial of the youths Loeb and Leopold, Judge Caverley has received so many letters threatening his death that the police have assigned him a special bodyguard while he considers the evidence. Most of the threats are based on the idea that the'judge does not favour hanging. —Sydney Sun Cables.
