FIGURES FOR, SOUTH AMERICA

The Meat Producers’ Board has been advised from Buenos Aires that the meat shipments from the Argentina and Urguay to the United Kingdom during the fortnight ended August 23 were: Chilled beef 187,225 qrs, frozen beef 38,428 qrs, frozen mutton 53,067 carcases, lamb 79,996.
