Mr Ben Tillet, addressing the strikers, said there were half a million men behind them. The real fight, would begin after the first, of the month. He appealed to the employers to be sportsmen. The strikers did not want to use force, but he warned employers utilising the police that, if force were employed against the strikers their leaders would ac-t accordingly. He ridiculed the idea of marketing produce by aeroplane.—Reuter.
