SHIPMENT FROM AUSTRALIA

(BY TELEGRAPH —TRESS ASSOCIATION.)

WELLINGTON, Aug. 26. A big consignment of Australiangrown wheat arrived to-day by the Waitomo. The .shipment, which w\ns loaded at Port Pirie, comprised 6017 tons, or 73,874 sacks, 31,000 sacks being for Wellington and the balance for Auckland. It is stated that the wheat is of good quality and in excellent condition.

Another large consignment is coming by the motor ship Hauraki, which loaded at Adelaide and Walaroo. It consists of 8000 tons, which is to he discharged at Lyttelton and Auckland.
