FOR OIL-BURNING STEAMERS,

TO CALL AT TROPICAL ISLAND

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 26. The New Zealand Shipping Company announces a new- departure. Its oilburning steamers will in future call at the Dutch island of Curacoa, off the north coast, of South America, to replenish supplies. The first outward bound passenger vessel to do so will be the Rotorua, leaving here on October 18, and the first inward bound vessel will be the cargo boat Turakina. Curacoa.is, of course, a tropical island, and a stop there will make an interesting break in the voyage.
