BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ CLUBS.
This very valuable institution is one that deserves the hearty support of country and town alike. Its annual meeting, adjourned from last Saturday, has been fixed for Saturday next, August 30, in Hawera. The committee need and ask the help of everyone interested, and trust that there will be a large attendance at the meeting, so that.they can push forward the competitions in connection with the clubs, and so be successful in the work they have undertaken of promoting an interest in farm work among the young people of the district. The meeting V will be held at the A. and P. rooms, ' Nelson street, at 10.30 a.m.
