The Governor-General and Lady Jelli. coe paid a farewell visit to Hastings to-day, when his Excellency was presented with an illuminated valedictory address by +he Mayor, and the opportunity was taken for his Excellency to perform the ceremony of opening the Cornwall Park main entrance gates. Afterwards they were entertained at luncheon by the Mayor, and later the Vice-Regal party paid a farewell visit to Woodford House, Havelock North, where the Hon. Myrtle and Nora Jellieoo have been at school
