PERSONAL ITEMS.
Many will learn with sincere regret of the death of Mr* Harry James, of South road, Wliareroa, which occurred this morning. The late Mr .lames was only 29 years of age. He had been to the war and, like many others, bad suffered much in health re tuTU. Much of his time had been spent under medical treatment, and at one time he was in hospital continuously for 12 months. A little oyer a year ago he married Miss Metcalfe, of Waverley, who was formerly a nurse at the Hawera Hospital. I‘or her and the son, aged about a month, and his parents, Mr and Mrs •i. <^ arnes ’ Ararata, much sympathy will be felt. The late Mr James was a most popular member of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The funeral takes place on Thursday at 2.30 p.m.
