BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT _ LONDON, Aug. 24. The Daily Mail calls attention to the fact that to-day is the fifth anniversary of the commencement of* flying from London to the Continent. British machines have flown four million miles, attaining 91 per cent, reliability in summer and thirty-eight throughout the year, including the winter fogs. They carried nearly fifty thousand passengers and only six were killed.
