DOLLAR ROMANCE.
NEWSBOYS TQ MILLIONAIRES. HUGE RAILWAY DEAL. NEW YORK, Aug. 8. An amazing romance of business was revealed when the consolidation of the Niclcle Plate, Chesapeake, and Pere Marquette railways was completed by the two • brothers van Sweringen, who were former newsboys in Cleveland. They will have a. total mileage of 15,000, the fourth largest system in the Eastern States. Thirty years ago the brothers invested their savings from newspaper selling in 2000 acres of real estate in Cleveland. Finally they built a street car line to serve their subdivision, and by 1010 they had become wealthy. Today, while still under 4:1, they rank with the Harrimans ami Coulds as railwav millionaires.
