STORMY WEATHER.

ON THE EAST COAST. (by TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION,) WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. Stormy weather has prevailed on the east coast of the North Island for the past three days, and shipping movements have been somewhat disorganised in consequence. Reports from Gisborne and Napier show that heavy seas delayed vessels and owing to. delay in berthing at Napier the steamer Rio Claro cannot reach Wellington before Saturday. The Shaw, Savill liner Waimana was delayed at Gisborne, and the Putiki, encountering a storm while proceeding from Gisborne to Wellington, put into Napier for shelter. Both have resumed the voyage.
