The Russian correspondent of the Morning Post points out that nine days after the signature of the Anglo-Soviet treaties, by which Russia pledged herself not to /interfere directly or indirectly with Britain’s internal affairs, the Third Internationale, to which Zinovieff, Trotsky, and Rykoff belong, issued an appeal to the British Communist Party expressing indignation at the prosecution of John Ross Campbell, editor of the Workers’ 'Weekly, which proves that the British Labour Government, as a supplement to the recent naval review, has begun the persecution of Communists, and appeals to the British Communists to continue bravely the fight against war, “despite all the persecutions by your so-called Democratic and Pacifist Labour Government Fight energetically aga'inst Imperialism -for the liberation of the oppressed colonial nations. The Morning Post remarks that this shows what the signatures of the Soviet representatives are worth.
