At tfte Supreme Court, Agnes Mooney claimed £SOO from Richard riudner, an undertaker, for alleged breach of promise to marry. Defendant denied a promise to f nd > alternatively, that plaintiff s alleged unchastity released him from the promise. Evidence was given that plaintiff was co-respondent in a divorce action but- she claimed that she had told detendant about this and he said it made no difference.
