The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day .he indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. There is a prospect of fine to cloudy weather. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. The barometer has a rising tendency. Seas moderate ; tides good.
