The Red Cross Society has cabled 100,000 dollars f.or the relief of the victims of the floods, which are sweeping several provinces of China. The United States Minister, Mr. Schurman, at Peking, reports that ten million people are affected and ten million dollars will be needed for relief AA-ork.— Reuter. SERVANTS ON STRIKE.
