JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. J WELLINGTON, Aug. 15. Junior high schools were mentioned in the House to-day, when Mr J. A. Maepherson (Oamaru) gave notice to ask the Minister for Education whether, in view of the diversity of opinion on the subject of junior high schools, lie would suspend further proceedings in* the direction of establishing such schools until a searching investigation had been made by a special committee representing primary, secondary, and technical schools, education hoards and university councils.
