ENTERTAINMENTS.
HAWERA SCOTTISH SOCIETY. ' The Foresters’ Ha.ll was a scene of gaiety last evening, the occasion being the. dance given by the Hawera Scottish Society. The hall was artistically decorated and great care had been bestowed by a strong committee of ladies to the affair being a success. About 105 couples were present, and in --spite of the crowded floor evervvveiit with a great swing. Messrs Coburn and hosier supplied the music for the urogram me. while extras were played by Mesdames Winks and iwadclle and Misses iJisset and Turnbull. The ladies and officials in charge are to be congratulated on the undoubted success achieved.
