BANDITS ON FRONTIER, PROTEST TO SOVIET. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT. LONDON, Aug. 11. Advices from Riga state that Poland, following attacks by Bolshevik bandits on the Polish frontier, strongly protested to the Soviet, demanding explanations and threatening to break off .diplomatic relations in the event of non-compliance. Meanwhile the Bolsheviks carried out further raids.
