The Washington Post says that a private luncheon with, the Executive and family lias been arranged for the lrmce of Wales on his arrival in the United States for the international polo matches in September. It is understood that-the Prince will reach New York on August 13. The Post says that the Prince’s cali at W hite House was decided upon, after King George had vetoed the proposal that lie should come to the United Stutes incognito as Lord Renfrew. The King held that international courtesy lequiied the us© of the highest title on the United States visit, necessitating formally paying respects to the President.—Reuter.
