Cosgrave (President of the Rail Eireami) reports on the boundarynegotiations to the Dail Eireann on Tuesday, and a fateful debate is expected. Labour and the new independent parties are expected to oppose an agreement and delay action till the British Parliament reassembles.
Mr De Valera, re-enters the political arena at Ennis on Friday, advocating a policy of constitutional republicanism. The Claire County Council refused to vote him an address of welcome, because guarantees were not forthcoming that be was coming to preach peace and unity.
