MACLAEEN’S PARTY. TRIBUTE TO AMERICANS. BY CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT VANCOUVER, Aug. 10. A message received from Dutch Harbour, Alaska, says tnat the Canadian trawler Thiepval, with Squadron-Leader Stuart MacLaren and the party of British world-fliers aboard, has arrived there en route to Prince Rupert'. MacLaren expressed delight at the success of the American fliers, saying he appreciated the hardships they had overcome. All the personnel of MacLareiv’s party is well, but Sergeant Rowe flew for hours with fever at 104 degrees, due to sunstroke at the Kurile Islands. LITTLE CHANCE OF SUCCESS.
